So I bought one to try after having used another company's product for a while. I took it for a test drive when shadowing an official court reporter who happened to be a machine stenographer. As the day went on the reporter pointed out several times how quiet I was!

I definitely feel like having this type of cover as opposed to something softer was way better at trapping and dampening sound. For context, I also practice using more of the open throat whisper for my voice technique.

It feels sturdy and comfortable in the hand and just looks great too!
